Prioritise vaccinations for people with a learning disability – petition call

British Association of Social Workers call for signatures to petition.

In response to the recently published ONS data which highlights the shocking and outrageous reality that around two-thirds of fatalities from tCovid-19 during its peak from start of March to mid-May were people with disabilities. That is more than 22,000 deaths.

People with learning disability aged 18-34 are 30 x more likely to die from Covid-19 than those without a learning disability.
